The tour starts with a visit to the top of Table Mountain (One of the New 7 Natural Wonders of the world) by using the very modern cable car facility (subject to weather conditions).

Upon leaving Table Mountain, we proceed to explore the heart of the City. The tour touches on the historical background of Cape Town and enlightens you on the vibrant cultural background of the city. The tour includes all the highlights of the inner city.

The afternoon is spent exploring the beautiful Constantia wine region. This is a great introductory / orientation tour of Cape Town. 

Itinerary

The tour starts with a visit to the top of Table Mountain by using the very modern cable car facility (subject to weather conditions). The view from the top of Table Mountain is unbelievable - and on a clear day, it is possible to see hundreds of miles away. Enjoy a short guided walk on the summit. If the weather are unfavourable, we will drive onto Signal Hill to enjoy the views over the city.  

We then proceed to explore the heart of the City, which includes the Castle of Good Hope (the oldest structure in Cape Town) OR District Six Museum. We will then proceed through the city and drive past the City Hall, the Grande Parade, the Houses of Parliament, the Company Gardens and the bustling Long Street. Enjoy a brief stop at Greenmarket Square for some souvenir shopping, as well as a photo stop at the very colourful and cultural Bo-Kaap area.

From here we will proceed to the Constantia wine region (the oldest wine producing area in the Cape). Lunch can be enjoyed at one of the wine estates (optional). You will then enjoy an informative cellar tour followed by a wine tasting at the oldest wine estate in the Cape. 

Return to your hotel at 16h30.
