Itinerary
The tour starts with a visit to the top of Table Mountain by using the very modern cable car facility (subject to weather conditions). The view from the top of Table Mountain is unbelievable - and on a clear day, it is possible to see hundreds of miles away. Enjoy a short guided walk on the summit. (If the weather is unfavourable, we will drive onto Signal Hill to enjoy the views over the city).
We then proceed to explore the heart of the City, which includes the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest structure in Cape Town. Leaving the Castle, we will drive past the City Hall, the Grand Parade, the Houses of Parliament, the Company Gardens and bustling Long Street. Enjoy a brief stop at Greenmarket Square for some souvenir shopping, as well as a photo stop at the very colourful and cultural Bo-Kaap area.
From here we will proceed to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is acclaimed as one of the great botanic gardens of the world. Few gardens can match the sheer grandeur of the setting of Kirstenbosch, against the eastern slopes of Cape Town’s Table Mountain.
